Casting Variation - Half and Full size fuel hatches
All colors available in Blue windshields.
Black windshields did not come in Blue, Copper, Olive and Red
Mattel started with 2 molds, by adding 2 more they introduced the Full Hatch variation.
Chrome Blue can appear Aqua due to gassed aging paint over a thin chromed green primered gray molded body
Green - While uncommon, is the hardest color to find as True Green, as they all gass/fade to Aqua -
Production - Painted Colors - Color Rarity
Collector Colors Names
This casting was designed and based on the Ford GT40 Mark IV, click on the HISTORY tab above for more details.

Cube Pic
Common misconception is that the Blue Chrome is really Aqua Chrome
While the car on the left looks Aqua, the side view of both clearly shows Blue
Both cars also show severe gassing... so the discoloration is from UV
